![]() ![]() Lake had originally said during the game’s reveal that he’d hope to have more to show this summer. Lake teased more on the game’s more horror-leaning direction and pushing Alan the character “further than ever before”, as they showed off some shots including a creepy looking grandmother. The trio showed off some motion capture work from the studio, as well as some concept art from the game’s ongoing development. Then of course, the topic came up of upcoming sequel Alan Wake 2. Production is still at a very early stage, we’re told, so there’s no casting details or anything else just yet. It seems the network, also responsible for The Walking Dead, have picked up the series. You may remember as far back as 2018 that Remedy were shopping around the series to various TV networks. Second on the agenda was the announcement that AMC had bought the television rights to the Alan Wake TV series. The announcement was the first of several Alan Wake-related news nuggets during the broadcast, which we’ll quickly run through here. They play Alan Wake’s face and mocap and his voice, respectively. ![]() The broadcast featured Creative Director Sam Lake joined by both Ilkka Villi and Matthew Porretta. The news came in a video celebrating the 12th anniversary of the original game’s release. Remedy Entertainment has announced that Alan Wake Remastered is coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year.
